The EVP and all other content on this website are the sole property of the Springfield Paranormal Research Group and may not be copied or reproduced without the written consent of the president of the SPRG. What is EVP? EVP is the recording of voices from the "other side" on tape recorders and/or video recorders. These mysterious voices come from an unknown source. Some of the voices captured may be very clear, while others are not. Some EVP captured may be just one or a few words, while others may be entire sentences or phrases. The voice(s) captured may be responding to something someone has said or the voice(s) may not make any sense at all. The world of EVP is exciting and sometimes frightening, but nevertheless, fascinating. We make no claims to be experts in this field. We may never know the answers to the questions that arise concerning the validity of EVP, but we will continue our research and analysis of EVP captured during our investigations. We hope you find the following EVP as interesting as we do. Please feel free to send us your thoughts on the subject. There's been discussion on exactly what is being said on some of these so please feel free to let the webmaster know what YOU think you hear and be sure to say which EVP you are commenting on. You will notice some are in Windows Media format. I sometimes make movies out of the EVPs with explanations for posting on Springfield Paranormal Research Group Facebook page.
Also, check "Investigations" for more EVPs.
Watch
~ This was captured during an investigation where a wrist watch was a factor. It belonged to the homeowner's deceased Dad and the word "watch" was heard during playback.
Don't Just Walk Away~ Roberta captured this EVP at a location where she saw the ghost of a young man dressed in period clothing. She felt that he enjoyed people being there. Her audio recorder was placed on a step near the structure. Roberta and her group were preparing to leave the location. Someone was placing her recorder and asked "right here Roberta?". Immediately after that a young man's voice can be heard saying "don't just walk away".
Unknown ~ The investigators and homeowners were all in one location in the home when this unusual voice was captured. What sounds like a male Native American voice can be heard talking while Roberta and the homeowners were talking. We have no idea what this voice is saying. This voice was not heard by the homeowners nor the investigators. During the investigation Roberta had told the other investigators she felt the presence of a Native American and was feeling their presence when this was being captured in the location where the digital recorder was laying.
Now Get Out ~ This was captured during a Lincoln Land Community College class field trip. I had felt uncomfortable and captured this EVP right after I mentioned it to Carl, the instructor. "Now" is pretty loud but the "get out" is after the bang and quieter.
"No" ~ This was captured one night. Have NO idea why they answered my question as they did. Perhaps they were making fun because both Dante and I knew they were there.
